Solve a problem your audience is having.

Your customer avatars address real problems that your audience has. Turn those problems into solution-based downloads for your audience. In exchange for that email of course.


Get your audience a quick win.

Give them something that they can use today, right now, real time. And make sure it makes a difference in their life with said problem above. Quick wins can be really simple like a really useful app, or a new way to address customer emails. They just need to be something that your audience can implement, and they can achieve something from it.


Instant access to whatever you’re promoting

Make sure that wherever the download, or the webpage that has your dedicated URL on it works. No glitches. No 404 errors.


Sip through a fire hose

I have been guilty of this one myself. Do NOT give out so much information that it is overwhelming for your audience. Give them small digestible bites that can easily be understood.


Have a high value offer

Show your expertise by offering very valuable content for your audience. This is your time to be the expert and turn your visitors into paying customers. Give away the good stuff to make way for the great.
